School Council

During the autumn term of each academic year, School Councillors are elected by their peers. Their role includes being the voice for all the children in our school.

Our Christian vision and values are embedded throughout all our decisions and thought processes, helping us to ensure we can be the best version of ourselves when taking on responsibilities.

Qualities of a School Councillor

  • To be organised
  • To be approachable
  • To be a good listener
  • To be kind and empathetic to other children
  • To enjoy playing with and improving the experiences of younger pupils

"Throughout the school, each year has two school council members apart from Year 6, who have four; two school councillors, a chair and a secretary.

Recently we planned the Harvest Festival in St Catherine's Church. We organised and published the service programme and made sure it all ran smoothly - we even led parts of the service!

We have meetings every month to discuss and organise events for our community. We also share others' ideas to make our school even better!"
